A Voice for Children has recently been blessed with $3500 pledged as a matching grant in order to support the Community Center and Feeding Program in Jaco.  The funds will be used in order to redo the bathrooms of the facility and expand and improve the kitchen area.  In addition to providing for the basic need of food for the very poor children in the community, the Community Center offers various activities such as sports, games, and bible studies that provide an opportunity for the children to learn basic life skills, as well as a chance for leaders to minister to the children. The Community Center currently provides for about 100 children about 4 times a week and, on some occasions, has well over 200 children coming.

Right now we are praying to come up with the matching funds in order to provide the Community Center with a total of $7,000 in order to expand the project and help more children.   We have received $2000 so far in gifts toward the matching grant.  We need your prayers and any financial support you are able to provide towards the matching grant to continue this ministry is appreciated.
