Dear Friend in Christ,

Richard Rohr says in his book, Immortal Diamond, “God’s life and love flow through you as soon as you are ready to allow it. That is the core meaning of faith-to dare to trust that God could, will and does have an eternal compassion toward you. Everyone who asked Jesus to heal them or help them had somehow made that simple act of trust that he cared-and so the flow happened and they were healed. No other preconditions were ever required. It is really rather shocking. Those who allow divine friendship enjoy divine friendship. There is a death life pattern to the human journey. We are required to die to ourselves in many ways to experience love and true life. Every time we love we die to ourself in some way. Once you know that life and death are not two separate things but are part of a whole, you will begin to view reality in a holistic, non-split way and that will be the change that changes everything. The full Christ Mystery serves as a map for the entire journey of the True Self from divine conception to beloved status, through crucifixion and unto resurrection. Carl Jung said “What happens in the life of Christ happens always and everywhere” and he called Christ the “Archetype of the Self”. Jesus seems to know very clearly that He is the “Stand in” stand in for all of us. He has taken our place on the cross but also He has miraculously qualified us for resurrection. See Mark 10:39. The whole process of living, dying and then living again starts with Yahweh “breathing into clay”, which becomes a living being. Genesis 2:7The Formless One forever takes on form as Adam and in Jesus as the New Adam and then takes us back to the Formless One once again as each form painfully surrenders the small self that it has been for a while. Jesus said “I am returning to take you with me, so that where I am you also may be”. John 14:3
The changing of forms is called resurrection and the return is called ascension, although to us it just looks like death. “They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection. He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for to Him all are alive. Luke 20:36, 38

Here is an update from Pastor Unity in Tanzania from the Youth Conference last month:

Dear friends,
We thank God for prayers and the financial supports for the youth conference. We praise God for our friendship and your love to us and our minister.

The Youth Conference began with great encouragement we had so many young men from different churches. Our goal was reached, we had hundreds who attended and great teachers whom were very blessings.

The first day we had shortage of mattresses so we had to buy 30 more mattresses which allowed us to accommodate more people than previous conferences, we thank God for the provision though we did not cover all the costs were needed but we trust God to pay all amount soon we get enough funds.
There was Gods moving power which we believe young men’s lives were changed, they kept asking the leadership to make sure we arrange for another conference, so when we shared with them our vision is to hold such conference every June and December they were very excited knowing the coming December they will be back again. We need much prayers for the upcoming conference in December 2017. We trust God to meet our budget again.

We know for sure without your help we could not achieve our goal at all, so please help us to convey our appreciation to everyone who gave money towards this ministry. We still ask for your prayers and support for another big event for the youth in December 2017. In this event we intend to invite more youth and hold Jesus celebration rally to preach Christ to our neighborhood.

We would like to hear from you what God leads you to help.

Yours in Christ service,

Bishop Unity Msami

I am so grateful for the opportunity to help Pastor Unity and these young people come to know Christ. Thank you for your prayers for the conference and gifts.
Please keep AVC and its ministry in your prayers and remember us with your tithes and gifts as we continue to try to care for God’s children. Especially this summer which is always a slow time of year for contributions.

Blessings,

Cameron
