Dear Friends and Donors,
As believers who have the Spirit of the Living God residing in us, we should live in the Flow of God’s spirit trusting Him to lead and guide us. In his new book, The Divine Dance, Richard Rohr explains that the God we have named “Trinity” is the flow who flows through everything, without exception, and who has done so since the beginning.
Thus, everything is holy, for those who have learned to see.
As the Scripture says in Acts 17, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.”
The Way of Jesus is an invitation to a Trinitarian way of living, loving and relating- on earth as it is in the Godhead.
Rohr writes “For God to be good, God can be one. For God to be loving, God has to be two. Because love is always a relationship, right? But for God to share excellent joy and delight and this is where the real breakthrough is-God has to be three, because supreme happiness is when two persons share their common delight in a third something-together. All you need to do to witness a couple at the birth of their new baby, and you know this is supremely true.”
If you are in Christ, you are in a divine dance with God. Seek more of His Spirit, He is faithful to give it to us if we seek it earnestly and honor and guard His Presence in our lives. You cannot create your union with God; it is objectively already given to you. The only difference between people is those who are consciously drawing upon this union and those who are not. We are all united to God, but only some of us know it. Most of us deny it and doubt it.
But as David says in Psalm 139:
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
If I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
As all the Gospels state, Jesus came to baptize us with the Holy Spirit and with fire. The Almighty wants to fill you with His love, His power and all the fruit of His Spirit today and every day.
Please pray for us as we inspire our partner pastors to walk in the fullness of the Spirit that is the Promise of the Father that Jesus promised to send. That was Pentecost, the goal of every believer-to be filled with the joy, peace and power of the Holy Spirit.
On January 20th, I met Arturo Castro, our Central America Director of Ministry and Giovanni Mora, our partner in Costa Rica, along with Pastor Manuel in Puerto Penasco, Mexico to dedicate our new Community Center there. The first event was held in mid December and was very well received by the community. Here are some pictures from the event.
We will also be preparing for February 16-18th in Veracruz, Mexico where we will be having a Pastor Conference with about 80-100 pastors. It will be a time of impartation and prayer as we help equip pastors to minister in the power of God’s Spirit, showing His love, presence and power. I Cor. 2: 4,5
