Dear Friends and Donors,

We are so proud of the Esperanza Orphanage in Puerto Penasco, Mexico that we help.  They are so dedicated to helping these young kids get an education and come to know the Lord, not to mention taking care of their health needs.   I was there last month and got to see first hand a new house that they are having built for young people in transition finishing high school.  There will be room for 7-10 boys and same amount for girls on a different floor.

Also, Pastor Manuel in Puerto Penasco works so tirelessly with young children. I love his heart for God’s children.

Albert Einstein wrote that “a human being is part of the whole called by us “Universe”, a part limited in time and space.  He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest-a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.  This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us.  Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”  (Walter Sullivan, “The Epstein Papers: A Man of Many Parts” The New York Times, March 29, 1972.)

Jesus said, “Love one another as I have loved you” John 15:12.  He calls us to die to ourselves and expand greatly our circle of love by loving all people as our brothers and sisters.  Yes, love even our enemies because then you will be like your Father in heaven, “you will be children of the Most High because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.  You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.

In His Love,

Cameron
