Friends and Supporters,
I am in Puerto Penasco now with Tim Schloesser.
We have visited the orphanage and spent time with Guillermo, the director of the Esperanza Home.  They now have 39 kids.  Guillermo asked us to pray for him, they need additional help and he desires some people to help who feel called to work with kids. He has seen that people who are not called do not last long.   He is somewhat tired and needs refreshing as it is a nonstop job.
Tim and I were able to pray for him and his wife together, asking God to give them joy and peace and refresh them and their marriage with His Presence.  Today we saw Guillermo and Arturo, the assistant director and bought fresh groceries for the kids.
We also spent time today and yesterday at the 2 Fish Ministry.  We took meals to prisoners in the jail.  Yesterday I preached and also Margarita who runs the program with her husband, Noe.  The last two days many men accepted the Lord.  We had the opportunity to pray over many.  Two men had severely damaged limbs from accidents, one arm and one leg.  Although we did not see immediate change, we know that God is working.  Tim is a seasoned prayer warrior who is now becoming a missionary by God’s leading.  This is his 3rd missionary trip.  We also prayed over two men who have accepted Christ  to be set free from being captive to alcohol.  One other older  man was healed from pains and problems moving his right leg.
We also have spent some time with the family we “adopted” here, a single mom with 6 kids.  We have gotten a bike fixed for two of the boys.  We also prayed over a broken arm the Mom just suffered.  We realize that these people with severe problems so need the Lord to heal because they don’t have doctors available to them.  They are homeless or almost so and have no money or means to get treatment.  They are dependent on the provision and mercy of the Lord.
Keep praying for us and AVC  as we bring the light of His Presence to dark places.
