AVCi provides funding for two different projects in Mexico.
We provide support to the Esperanza Children’s Home in Puerto Peñasco by funding food and other necessities to the 40 children living in the facility. Esperanza gives them safe refuge and spiritual nourishment. Some of these children are orphans, others have been victims of violent home situations, abuse, and homes torn apart by addictions. Children come to stay at Esperanza through the Mexican authorities and sometimes from their parents, who are unable to care for them.
We also support the Two Fish Ministry in the Puerto Peñasco area. The feeding program provides food for about 250 kids per week in three different locations. Noe and his wife Margarita run this program and bring hope to many children in the area.
