Dear Friends in Christ,

We recently got new doors for the front and side entrances at the Managua Community Center. They are beautiful and secure the building. They cost over $1000. The building is a source of pride and unity to the community.   We have also installed ceiling fans which help tremendously with the heat.

Recently, a young man was confronted by a woman from the community as he was digging up a plant in front of the building. “Don’t you know that is the Lord’s building? You are stealing from God. Put that back”

For this reason we currently finished putting a small wall and wrought iron fence around the building. That is common in Latin America. It will cost over $1500.

It will enhance the appearance of the building and provide more security. But it is real and wonderful to see the community come together in the light of God to make a difference in the area.
