Dear Seekers of the Truth and Light,

As we near the end of 2017, we are celebrating and praising God for all He has done as we complete the 5th year of A Voice for Children. AVC was started in early 2013 after operating as Blessed Are the Children for about 7 ½ years under Global Connection. We are now impacting about 4200 kids each month in all of our ministries and will soon reach over 4500 kids per month soon.
Some of the new projects we are working on for the end of this year and the beginning of next year include the following:
Samsung 7 Elite Tablets for Community Centers-Last month we sent 90 tablets to the Sonrise School in Rwanda. We believe that the tablets are the way of the future for kids around the world to become educated. After much work, review and planning on this project, which has been led by Gaylord Layton, we identified the Samsung 7-inch Elite tablet as the most useful, efficient and cost effective. We obtained the first round of tablets for Sonrise, which is the premier school technologically in Rwanda, at about $80 per tablet.
We have also tested this tablet in the Community Centers in Managua and Jaco, Costa Rica. We would like to send about 25 to each center soon. This will run almost $5000 with shipping costs.

I tell all the kids in our ministries that they need to learn English and computers to have a future in the world economy. We have seen many young 20 somethings in countries like Nicaragua getting great jobs in call centers for major companies, banks, hotels and tourism companies and major companies such as Proctor and Gamble in Costa Rica with their knowledge of English and computers. It changes their lives, the lives of their families, their communities and is changing countries!

New Community Center in Mexico-God has recently led me to develop a relationship with a Pastor in Penasco who has a similar vision for a community center for kids there. We have in turn been led to an owner of a large property in the Oriente Colonia where Pastor Manuel felt led to seek a place. That Colonia is the largest in Penasco, is in a central area of town and has no church in that area. As Pastor Giovanni of Costa Rica says the community centers are so effective at reaching kids and their families because “is not church But is church”!

The owner of this property is very excited to have us use it for a community center for kids and is willing to rent it for one year, with an option for a second, at 3000 Mexican Pesos, which is only about $165 US per month. We will need about $400 per month to operate it and some extra funds to dress up the building with paint and repairs. We need to raise about $5000 for next year for this project which will start this December. We believe that we will impact over 300 kids per month with this location and program. “Children are a gift from the Lord, a reward from a mother’s womb.” Psalm 127:3

Please pray for all we are doing and how you can help us with your year end giving. We believe that we are co-laboring together for the Kingdom of God and we are in a season of harvest like never before!

God is pouring out His Spirit and we are seeing more and more miracles even as the world becomes crazier with seemingly random events of evil taking place all the time. The Scriptures say that “Love is stronger than death” and the power of this love is what Christ’s life and death and resurrection are all about. Please join us in the manifesting of the love of God all around the world.
From our family to yours Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings, joy and peace,

Cameron
